National Museum of Anthropology in Tabasco, Mexico

This photo made by Regula Tschumi in a fisher village in Ghana is part of a new exhibition in the National Museum of Anthropology in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico.
This group exhibition was curated by Gulnara Samoilova, founder of Women Street Photographers, with the works of 60 women photographers from around the world. Co-curator was Polly Irunga.

Women Street Photographers, the new book edited by Gulnara Samoilova!

Regula Tschumi is among the 100 women street photographers who were selected for this project.
Her photograph from Ghana is also shown on the back cover!
Gulnara Samoilova, founder of the Women Street Photographers project, published her first book at Prestel Random House (Munich, London, New York). The book contains the work of 100 women street photographers from around the world, accompanied by personal statements about their work. 
The renowned photojournalist Ami Vitale wrote a foreword, and photographer Melissa Breyer wrote an essay, exploring how the genre has intersected with gender throughout history. The photograph on the front cover is by B Jane Levine.
