Exploring Capecoast
The coastal town of Cape Coast not only served as the center of the West African slave trade but it was also the colonial headquarter of the British Gold Coast from 1664 to 1877. Today, this small town with the impressive old slave castle and the colorful fishing port one of Ghana's most important tourist attractions, along with the neighboring village, Elmina.I always enjoy the daily life in Cape Coast and Elmina. Sometimes, I relax there from the always hectic and overcrowded Accra, and spend time in Cape Coast, enjoy the atmosphere of this old town full of history, and spend my time in the small villages in the neighborhood.
